During Data Teams: We have decided that for our Data meetings we will not rotate roles, we will just keep them the same for all meetings. We also had to talk about and decide where they want more staff development. One of the things they wanted was more Kindergarten specific words their way training. The principle came in and talked about the IRLAs. Since we are an IRLA light school we need to remember that we are Not doing the 100 book challenge. That we only focus on doing 2 steps at school and only using IRLA as an assessment tool. I think my follow kindergarten team is getting frustrated with not enough support, books, and just frustrated with the light version. It almost seems like they really want our school to look like Riverside. But, we cannot look like that yet when we are a light school , there are not enough books, and not enough support and help.
