Meaningful homework tasks may take a little more time to prepare but believe me, it’s worth it.
Worthwhile homework is more likely to engage your students and may lead to more involvement in
class. Fast forward a few months later and we have good news to share. Kids with straight A effort
report cards get even more prizes and fun activities of their choice. Not every kid gets one every
month, but I choose two or three at random each month to receive one. The funny thing is that
sometimes kids would read a book for their RRJ that they didn't love and they wouldn't want to
