Course Objectives: The primary aim of this course is to master the concepts of economic analysis in evaluating engineering proposals in terms of worth and cost of products, services, and systems. The course reflects the increasing complexity of problems and computations in the business world today by looking at the problems of inflation and deflation, methods and difficulties in estimating the future consequences of alternatives and economic analysis in public sector and rationing money among competing projects when there are more good projects than money. A number of engineering economic analysis such as equipment replacement analysis is described followed by break-even analysis and minimum cost. TEXTBOOK:

Exams :
You will be having three exams : Exam I 20 points of total points Exam II 20 points of total points Final 50 points of total points 10 points assigned for homework and quizzes. This will be arranged as we proceed in the course.
