Configure LSO Back-End System for the Publication of Course Content


Use
If you want to publish course content in the course administrator portal, the following steps are necessary for configuring the backend system.

Prerequisites
You have set up Single Sign-On between the Enterprise Portal for the SAP Learning Solution Content Player (LSOCP) and the back-end system of SAP Learning Solution.

Configure System Relationship

Start transaction SM59. For a connection to an external HTTP server, enter relationship type G (HTTP Connections to Ext. Server) Enter a unique name and short description for the relationship. Select the Logon/Security tab page. Choose the Send SAP Logon Ticket setting.

Note that all authors need write access for the root directory (master repository) and the temporary directory in the Content Management system. 6. 7. 8. Switch to the Technical Settings tab page. For the destination, enter the name of the Enterprise Portal where you have installed the Content Player (LSOCP). For the service number, enter the HTTP port or HTTPS port, depending on whether you want to use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).

Create Logical Ports

Start transaction LPCONFIG to create the logical ports for the proxy classes of the publishing and repository Web services. You need to create two logical ports, which you have to re-create: Enter CO_LSO_CPT_PUBLISHER_SERVICE for the proxy class. Enter a descriptive name for the logical port. Select the Default Port setting. Enter a description. Select the State Management property under Global Settings. Select the tab page Call Parameters. Enter the HTTP connection you already created as the HTTP destination for the Enterprise Portal. Enter /LSOPublisherService/Config?style=document as the path suffix. Activate and check the logical port. Repeat Stepps 1 through 10 for the proxy class CO_LSO_CPT_REPOSITORY_SERVICE. For this, use /LSORepositoryService/Config?style=document as the path suffix.
