Ethernet setting in the PC (for Windows XP)

On the PC desktop screen, placing the cursor in [My Network Place] make a click with the right pad of the mouse. After selecting [Properties] with the left pad of the mouse, will appear all the possible network connections available in the PC. Select with a double click on the left pad mouse [Local Area Connection].

By selecting [Connecting Local Area Network] with a double-click the mouse, appears the display of the state of such a connection:

Select [Properties] and a list of different protocols of connection available with the card of local network will be shown.

Select [Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)] in the list and click on [Properties].:

Select the IP address and subnet mask adequate, Example: IP Address: 192.168.1.50 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Click on OK to confirm the configuration. If the PC is already connected to a network (inside the company etc.), the IP Address and Subnet Mask of the CNC should be according to the network previously established.
