Jeff Cochran is the Associate Professor of Stage and Production Management at Oklahoma City University.

As the head of the Stage and Production Management Program, Jeff oversees both the academic and production components of the program for both the School of Theatre and the Bass School of Music. In addition to his work at OCU, Jeff stays active in the industry. Serving as the Production Stage Manager with Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, Jeff has worked on productions ranging from King and I to Sweet Charity to Disneys Tarzan. Through the partnership with OCU and Lyric Theatre, Jeff has served as the Stage Management Mentor for his students serving as Stage Manager for productions such as Spring Awakening and The Rocky Horror Show. Prior to his time at OCU, Jeff was an active member in the D/FW arts community. Jeff has staged managed for such companies as WaterTower Theatre, Shakespeare Festival of Dallas, the Greater Tuna Corporation and Dallas Black Dance. In addition to his background in stage management, Jeff has served in a variety of roles in the performing arts. As an arts administrator, Jeff served as the Director of the Murchison Performing Arts Center at the University of North Texas. In 1996 he served as a Lighting Designer during the Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia. Jeff is an active member of the United States Institute for Theatre Technology, the International Association of Venue Managers and is a proud member of Actors Equity Association.
