DAILY LESSON PLAN FOR YEAR 2 Name: Loverlynn Chai Wen Shza Focus: Language Arts Topic: Mickey

Has a Little Mouse


Lesson summary: Teacher will teach pupils to read the lyric of Mickey Has a Little Mouse. Then, teacher will sing the song to pupils with action. Pupils will repeat after teacher. Teacher will show few examples of animals to pupils. Teacher will asked pupils to replace mouse in the lyric with other animals as displayed by teacher and have the song sing with action taught. Teacher divided the pupils into group. Every group will select the animals that they like and sing the song with action. One of the pupils names in the group will be used to replace the name of Mickey while the other group members will be the animal that they had selected together. Teacher distributes worksheet to pupils. Learning Standard : Content Standard :
