Magnetic Field Lines

When you are drawing magnetic field lines, the direction of the arrows are always going from north to south. Magnetic fields are the region around the magnet where other magnetic material will experience a force. Telsa(T) is the unit of magnetic-field strength. When the field lines are close together at a point, the point is said to have a strong magnetic field. Field lines never cross.
