Since 1998 the Foundation has raised over $2 million.

Grants have been made to: the Exuma Education Resource Centre, Our Fathers Business, the College of The Bahamas Exuma Satellite, St. Andrews Church, L.N. Coakley High School, Moss Town Primary School, the Jacob Rolle Preschool, St. Theresas Catholic Church, Exuma Community Clinic, the Exuma Police Youth Band and the

T h e E xu m a F o u n d a t i o n exists to support education in all of its aspects on Exuma and to enhance the quality of life there. Established in 1998 with a gift from the Benjamin Family Foundation, it is a U.S. non profit community foundation that raises funds and issues grants to fulfill its mission. Contributions offered to The Exuma Foundation by American citizens are U.S. tax deductible.
The Foundation is managed by a volunteer board of directors:

National Family Island Regatta. In addition, grants were made to build the Community Activity Centre, low-income housing and various remodeling projects on The Exuma Foundation Ltd. campus. The Foundations financial activities and fund management are contracted to Cornerstone, a private financial management company. The Exuma Foundation encourages contributions and volunteer support. Inquiries may be made by telephone, fax, mail or email. Contributions of cash or stock may be offered directly or by wire transfer.
