What do you think the artist was trying to say in the artwork? The serenity of a rising moon over a beautiful town in Mexico Why do you think he or she chose this subject? It was a clean shot with little in the sky cluttering around the moon and houses What feeling does this artwork give you and why? It reminds me of a comfortable summer night. Cool but inviting. Peaceful What part of the artwork is your favorite and why? The mountains in the back, and the small line of clouds above, because it gives the picture a lot of depth compared to the houses and plants in the front. It gives the allusion that its closer to you than the focus really would have been. It messes with your mind in a way.
