Interpretation:
What do you think the artist was trying to say in the artwork? _ That nature is beautiful, and we should value it. Why do you think he or she chose this subject? _Because natural beauty is sort of spectacular, and I think Ansel knew that and wanted to capture it and show people. What feeling does this artwork give you and why? _It makes me think of a cold winter day, and it makes me want to go and spend time outside. What part of the artwork is your favorite and why? _I love the detail in this picture. Every line on the leaves is accentuated, and all of the separate needles on the tree stand out well, I also like that he turned it black and white. I personally like black and white photos. It makes it seem sort of timeless to me.
