Learning Story

Name: Miranda Age: 5

Date: 7/10/13
Setting: Outside Time: 12.05pm

Miranda was working with her friend to make the soup. When being asked why she put the end of the pipe into the soup and blew it to make bubble, she said, make it magic. She kept blowing it and made lots of bubbles.

She found some flowers and put them into the soup, she stirred and kept blowing it. When being asked what they thought the bubble came from, they thought about it for a while and then answered, because we blew it. Educator praised them and told them when they blew the pipe, they pushed the air inside the pipe out and the air is lighter than the water so the bubble appeared. They listened carefully and tried it again.
