most materials creating a water tight bond. It can be applied by hand directly from the roll onto clean, dry, grease-free surfaces. Other sizes are avaiable for special requirements.

Self-fusing rubber electrical insulating and sealing tape

UEKCJ80 & UEKCJ82
They are designed for quick and easy insulating, padding and sealing of objects that need to be protected from adverse environmental conditions. Excellent adhesion and sealing characteristics to metals, rubbers, synthetic cable insulations and jackets. UEKCJ80 consists of EPR backing coated with an aggressive, temperature-stable mastic. They can be used on copper or aluminum conductors rated at 90C (194F) with an emergency overload rating of 130C (266F). It offers excellent resistance to moisture and ultraviolet exposure and is intended for both indoor and weather exposed outdoor applications. Normal size: (mm) 1.6503000. Cross reference: UEKCJ80 is equal to 3M 2228# and UEKCJ82 is equal to 3M 2229#.
