Discussion Q & A: Session 8 23 October 2013 Commencement Advice by Michael Dirda Strategies and Structures 2-Why do you think

Dirda builds his essay around multiple brief examples rather than one or two extended examples? I believe Dirda does this to cover a lot of ground and to give as much advice as possible. 3-Which of Dirdas examples do you find especially interesting or appropriate? How and how well do they illustrate his point, in your opinion? Keep an interior citadel and Momento Mori. He is passing on life advice not just college advice, which I believe is his mission. I think he wants graduates to understand just because they have No more classes, no more books, no more teachers dirty looks that they should just goof around. They should pay very good attention to their lives. Not to mention, not a single thing in that quote is true.
