The Brazilian word forr comes from English? During the second World War Americans and other foreign peoples were here in Brazil. Every weekend there

was a dancing party, in which everyone participated. So


they named this party FOR ALL. Because they spoke the words very fast, Brazilians understood FOR, and it became Forr.

Different versions

Some experts say the word comes from the abbreviation of forrobod, which means to shuffle ones feet (on the ground); it also means a

confusion or revelry (festivity).
