Adjectives ending in ed

Adjectives ending in ed follow the three rules you have already studied: - / d / after a voiced sound; e.g. tired / 'ta\d / - / t / after a voiceless sound; e.g. hunchbacked / 'hntbkt / - / d / after the sounds / t / or / d / ; e.g. undecided / nd'sadd / However, a few adjectives in this group have a special pronunciation: the last syllable is pronounced / d / instead of / d / or / t / . They are the following: - blessed - crooked - dogged - learned - ragged - rugged wicked wretched naked - aged

Write them in transcription and practise saying them. Check the meaning of those you do not know.
