---- Usain Bolt ----

It is sometimes said that the old is better than the new but, is that an unavoidable always-true rule? From this writers view point, this is not only inaccurate but also extremely unfair with many of the extraordinary sportsmen who are currently on the top of their career. One of them is Usain Bolt. Bolt is undoubtedly an athlete who has already written his name in athletics history. In 2008 he was officially the fastest man in the world, doing the 100 meters race within 9,72 seconds. Since them, all he has been doing is improving his own marks and now the world record is at 9,58 seconds. Not only has he set up many of the current world best marks in 100m., 200m. and 4x100m. categories but he has also won several medals in former Olympic Games (2008 in Beijing and 2012 in London) who really led him to success. From my view point this is more than enough to declare him as one of the greatest sportsmen of all time. Including him on the list you are preparing would just be what he indeed deserves since he is not only a great sportsperson but also an outstanding example for children, who certainly consider him as their sports idol. Moreover, Bolt is making Athletics a more popular sport between youngsters and is also cleaning this sports image, which has sometimes been hardly punished due to some doping cases. These are the reasons why I would like to ask you to consider my proposal of including Usain Bolt for the 10 Greatest sportsperson competition.
