Catholic Central High School Percussion Rehearsal Summer Schedule 2013

! This ensemble is a participation based endeavor. It is crucial that all of our members attend the rehearsals. That being said, I am very aware that it is summer. Our students and their families may be going on some vacations, or be gone for other reasons. I am not opposed to this at all. I do ask that you let Mrs. Reinhard, Marty, or myself know no later than one full week in advance. ! Parents/Guardians, to clear up any confusion, this ensemble is built on the consistency and preparation of its members. I will ask that your students practice everyday. They do not need to spend hours, just ve to fteen minutes daily will produce much more success than one or no weekly practices. We are posed to have a wonderful competitive season and I am very excited about it. All members executing regular practice will ensure this success! ! A reminder to our members. Practice is your responsibility, rehearsals are for introducing new materials for you to practice and to put into an ensemble setting, material that you have already practiced. Rehearsals are not, I repeat, not for learning music. Spend a few minutes everyday to learn and memorize the material given to you. Schedule: All rehearsals are on campus from 6pm to 9pm unless otherwise noted. Wednesday 5/22 Thursdays 5/30 6/6 6/13 6/20 Wednesday 6/26 Week off, Happy 4th of July! Thursday 7/11 Percussion Camp 9am - 4pm, one hour lunch break at noon, students are responsible for their own lunch. 7/18 7/19 Band Camp Schedule will come from Mrs. Reinhard Please, tear off the following, sign it, and return that portion to Me no later than 5/30.
