REFERENTS

Are the concretes objects or concepts that are designateds by a word or expression.

THESE ARE USED WITH


Subject personal Pronouns. Reflexive pronouns. Possessive pronouns. Possessive Adjectives.

Are used before a verb instead of the name of a person or noun, as subjects.

Object personal Pronouns.

Are used after a verb or a preposition, as objects. These, show that something belongs to someone. They do not take a noun after them.

I YOU HE SHE IT WE YOU THEY

These, show that something belongs to someone and the relationship between two or more people. We put them before nouns.

Are used when the person do reference to the self, when it do the action differents.

ME YOU HIM HER IT US YOU THEM

MINE YOURS- HIS- HERSOURS YOURS - THEIRS.

MY YOUR HIS HER ITS OUR THEIR.

MYSELF YOUSELF HIMSELF HERSELF ITSELF OURSELF THEMSELF.

EXAMPLES

Pearl caught a frog; she wants to keep it for a pet.

The cars that are there, those are of Ximena, those are his cars. You have a dog very small, but that is your dog. They are going to with jarol to the park, but Jarol is going to with temself.

Jack and I went to the cinema and he bought me a soda.
