Some people think that human needs for farmland, housing, and industry are more

important than saving land for endangered animals. Do you agree or disagree with
this point of view? Why or why not? Use specific reasons and examples to support
your answer.
------------------------------------------------------------

I agree that human needs of farming, housing and industry are a priority and
certainly more important. This is because of the reason that human population is
exorbitantly increasing day by day and simultaneously the needs are also
increasing. We need more food, more vehicles, more houses, more space for
business, more industries and many more. Hence people need more area of land to
fulfill these requirements. We need more and more land for farming and
agriculture. Land is required for more of airports, roads, hotels, hospitals and
what not. However it does not mean that land for endangered animals is unimportant
but when it comes to relative importance, the latter gets second priority.

Nevertheless it is a high time that citizens must give a deep thought to the
problem of over population and realize the dangers short comings of it. As urged
by governments from time to time, people must ensure not to have more than two
children in a family.

People must adopt measures of family planning as suggested by Governments. This

will greatly help prevent over growth of population and help increase share of
resource to every individual. It is not out of place to quote a great advice by a
learned man that: - “Reduce Your Needs and You Shall Be Rich.”

In conclusion, although human needs for farmland, housing, and industry are more
important saving land for endangered animals is also important. This can be
achieved through sincere and dedicated efforts of all countrymen towards
exercising control over the increase in population.
