Top 50 Prepositions

Out of the 2265 most frequently used words, 46 were identified as prepositions. However, 40 words were primarily used as prepositions, while the remaining 6 words were different types but could be used as a preposition. For example, the word "above" is an adverb, such as, "the text written above is accurate." However, it can also be a preposition, "A general is above a captain." Because of the multiple meaning of words, the ordering of words were conducted by 1) taking the frequency of only preposition types, then 2) taking the frequency of (prepositions + other type), then finally 3) taking the frequency of (other type + prepositions).
