Search Wikipedia for Environmental Issues to get an idea of what you want to write about. Choose one issue from the list that comes up. Use the databases to research that issue; it should be something you personally connect with. Choose one article that discusses the issue you chose, think about what the authors perspective is in the article, and explain it to me or teach me about it.

Use the article to support your explanation in a short one- to twoparagraph expository response. Think about your purpose as you write. What are you trying to prove and why is it so important? What conclusion style will you use to end it meaningfully?
