PITCH At first the Lipton Yellow Label Pink Panther advertisement has an atonal tonality.

This is so to help in giving the effect of the portrayed composer/arranger trying to get exactly what he wants out of the music. It then goes to a minor tonality when the saxophonist comes in. The minor tonality gives the song a type of blues-like feeling and this is exactly what the portrayed composer/arranger was looking for.

TIME The beginning of the music in this advertisement was played rubato. This also gave the feeling of the portrayed composer/arranger trying to decide what he wants in the music. It then progressed to 4/4 time where the final product was heard. The music in this advertisement lasted about one minute. This is so to keep enough space for other scheduled programming and also because it would have been cheaper to have a shorter advertisement.
