Recital
You will arrange a date with your family/guardians/caregiver and present a recital. Date needs to be between the 7th of March and 28th of March 2013. Your personal recital will last at least 15 minutes. You may combine with one partner to present to both families for a 20-minute recital.
Guidelines
I. Prepare all of the following required songs for performance: March Militaire #106 New World Symphony #118 (Percussion optional- Hungarian Dance) Botany Bay #134 Surprise Symphony #150 Minuet #160 II. Prepare 5 songs from choice list: A Waltz Theme # 81 On Top of Old Smokey # 108 Sea Chanty # 113 Michael Row the Boat Ashore #132 The Saints Go Marchin In #142 Minuet #103 Kum Bah Yah #131 Ezekiel Saw the Wheel #94 All Through the Night #112 Scarborough Fair #114 Finlandia #136 Hatikvah #157 Bottom Bass Boogie #109 La Bamba #187

(Duet - If you choose 2 songs from the B list, each person has to prepare 3 songs each from the A list. If you choose 1 song from the B list, each person has to prepare 4 songs each from the A list)
III. Prepare 2 scales: Concert Bb #1 & #2 & concert Eb #1  (p. 40)

IV. Send an invitation with date-time-place. (Class time at computers-schedule given in class) V. Prepare a printed program (Class time at computers- schedule given in class) Date-Time-Place Musical Training-Brief Biography Song List/Composer VI. Have audience complete rubric for grade. Audience must have at least 2 adults to complete rubric immediately after recital. VII. Turn in completed rubric(s). No later than March 28, 2013
