Distributive Property
The Distributive Property is an algebra property which is used to multiply a single term and two or more terms inside a set of parentheses.

Example: 4(86)= 4(8)+4(6) 32+24 56

Associative Property
Is when you keep the order and signs of the numbers but you move the parentheses around
Example 4(8x3)=(4x8)3 Example 4+(8+3)=(4+8)+3

Commutative Property
Is where you can put the numbers in different orders and you get the same answer every time.

Example 6+3 = 3+6

Example 6x3 = 3x6

Simplifying an Expression
4(7x-3)+2x - group 4(7)=28-3=25 - +,x,, the grouped numbers 25(x+2x)+,x,, the grouped numbers 25(3x) is the nal answer

Solving an Equation
