On November 14th, the University of North Florida and the Taylor Leadership Institute had the pleasure of hosting

an Afternoon Dialogue with Ambassador Gideon Meir. Ambassador Meir is a former Ambassador for Israel, and shared his life experiences and provided insight into his position as a diplomat. He was able to answer questions from the audience to help them create connections between culture and politics, while sparking an interest to getting involved in their own local community. The students submit evaluations about the event and the feedback was outstanding. Students were intrigued, inspired and entertained by Ambassador Meirs testimony. Several students noted that their understanding of Israeli foreign policy had been broadened, while other students were able to relate the dialogue to their own personal cultural experiences.
