Cosmic Peacekeepers Light Destroyer S-2 Centauri The Centauri is one of the most common spacecrafts used by the

Peacekeeper Fleet. Its primary role is to hunt down and destroy enemy ships hidden in deep hyperspace. A gravity interference radar is housed behind the black windows on the wing, which detects objects in nearby hyperspace. Once located, it then uses its graviton cannons to destroy the enemy. It also has 4 machine guns which could be used in dogfights, but due to its lack of manoeuvrability, Centauri pilots do not normally engage themselves with enemy fighters. The phase drive is a highly efficient device that sends out gravity waves to generate a great amount of thrust. One engine on its own works fine, but when more than one are fitted onto a spacecraft, their wakes interfere and create turbulent waves, which could reduce their thrust by up to 90%. An initial solution to this by the Peacekeepers was to use the cutting-edge energy field (thus the hexagon seen at the back of the engine) technology to constrain the wakes of the engine so they does not overlap. The price paid was doubling the engine weight, thus the FEPD was not suitable for ships requiring agility. Model This model is in 1:72 scale, be aware that glue tabs/joining strips are not included and youll have to make your own. Parts indicated by * should be reinforced with cardboard. Enjoy building!
