Introduce the author and briefly summarize the short story. Include the genre and theme. Introduce the characters. Give your opinion but do not go into details.

Development:
Start your development paragraph by criticizing the elements of the short story (genre, theme, conflict, climax, setting, characters) Give your opinion about the short story based on the development of the elements throughout the story. Were the characters believable? Why or why not? Is the storyline captivating?

Conclusion:
Did you learn anything? What is the moral or lesson? Would you recommend this short story? Explain. Conclude with an appreciation or how the author could have done better.
