The negative effect of the limited access of instructional technology in teaching learning process in the English Language Major

at Universidad Tecnolgica.

It is of great important that students from the English language major at UTEC of El Salvador know how to manage technological resources; however for different circumstances they cannot do it since they dont have real contact with this technology or when technology is limited. As consequences students dont possess well develop competences necessary for their professional develop and well performance in a real working world. That is why the researches present the problem the negative effect of the limited instructional technology in teaching learning process in the English language major at Universidad Tecnolgica. Nowadays the instructional technology has to be a requirement for all the universities to improve national education and provide in this way a better life style. The English language major restricts the access of some important technological devices that should be available for students and teachers too, avoiding in this way a real completion of the objectives that the major has. It is important emphasize that is really convenient to use instructional technology in the teaching learning process because it provokes interest and stimulate learning. In this way students can study more independently, allowing them the option to work on their learning material at any time of the day, they can also improve their language skills, like writing, reading, listening and speaking.
