2013 Silent Auction Donation Request Letter

Harmonizing The Arts November 13, 2013

Dear Business Owner, The BR Walls Project hopes that you will take a few moments to read about our upcoming event and decide to participate by donating to our silent auction. On November 13, 2013 from 79 p.m. we will be hosting a fundraising event at the Belle of Baton Rouge Casino & Hotel for the unveiling celebration for the Baton Rouge Blues Harmonica mural painted by Robert Dafford. We anticipate approximately 300 guests at this function and the funds raised will go toward BR Walls Project. We are a local nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization with a responsibility to beautify this community and enhance the Baton Rouge arts scene. We are more than an art organization: we believe that business enables art, which, in turn, makes businesses thrive and thus our slogan: commerce creates art creates commerce. We need your help to make this event as exciting and extravagant as we hope. Please consider supporting our event by donating gift certificates, merchandise, services or artwork. In exchange, you will receive some excellent community exposure and advertising. Your company name, address, phone number and donation will be on display at the event and listed in our Auction Brochure. If you are an individual member or your company cannot donate an item please consider contacting a few places in your surrounding community to see if they would be willing to donate an item to our silent auction. In order for your donation to be included in the silent auction we must receive it by November 8, 2013. We will gladly pick up your donation.
