Newton's Three Laws!

!
By Isaiah!
! Newton's three laws of motion explain motion, P! movement, action, and reaction. First of all, Newton's o! rst law explains Inertia. A Pokmon card stays on k! someone's side of the eld until you pick it up or ! move it. This is an example of an object at m! o! rest stays at rest until moved. Secondly, If n you push a ball then it will keep moving until stopped. Which is an example of an object in motion stays in motion until stopped. In conclusion, Inertia describes that an object won't move until it is moved, or an object that is moved will keep moving until stopped.! ! Newton's second law explains acceleration. Acceleration tells us that when a force acts on a object in motion the object's speed and/ or direction is changed. Also, if the object is heavier it is going to take more force to change the object's speed and/or direction. For example, it takes more force to move 12 pound bowling ball than it does a six pound bowling ball. In conclusion, we use Newton's second law of motion throughout our lives.! ! Newton's third and nal law explains that for every action there is a equal and opposite reaction. Here are Rock bouncing examples of Newton's third law. When you bounce a ball it on water pushes on the ground as well as the ground pushing on it making it bounce back up to you instead of it just landing on the ground. Another example of Newton's third law is when you are skipping rocks on water when you throw your rock it bounces off the water so the action is the rock hitting the water and the reaction is the rock bouncing of the water. Overall, we use Newton's third law of motion a lot. To conclude, we use all three of Newton's laws all the time wether we are moving or not.
