In the autumn, when the corn was harvested, the Pilgrims and Native Americans had a big celebration feast to thank the Native Americans for their assistance. Now, every year in the United States, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the last Thursday of November to remember the Pilgrims and Native Americans sharing the first Thanksgiving meal.
