Primaries: Nominate Your President!


Get into four groups

Nominate one person in your group to run for

President! The rest of you have all become campaign managers

Congratulations Possible Presidents!


Now Ms. Presidents her trusty campaign managers,

please choose a slogan for your campaign and what you will stand for as a president.
Raise your hand when you have completed this task

and we will give you an envelope for campaign money as well as a list of what resources cost!

Campaigning is hard work.

How did you feel about the election process when other

groups had more money than you? How do you think this simulation relates to real life campaigning and politics? Do you think the campaign process is fair? What are some negatives to the campaigning process? What are some ways the campaign process can be made fair? /Do you think there should be restrictions?
