Dear Sir, Greetings! I am writing to ask to be excused from my classes from September 26, 2013 (Thursday) to September 28, 2013 (Saturday). I will travel to Manila on the said dates to attend the International Youth Development Summit (IYD Summit 2013) organized by the National Association of UNESCO Clubs in the Philippines (NAUCP), Inc., in partnership with the National UNESCO Commission of the Philippines and the Local Government of Taguig City. I will be making the trip in my capacity as faculty member of the Social Sciences Department of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University and as moderator of the International Studies Students Organization of the Ateneo (ISOA). My trip will actually extend to September 30th, but I will be able to attend my classes on that date since I will be taking the early afternoon flight back to Zamboanga.
