PART 1 How might the Sentrys statement, A man should never be too sure of anything, apply to Creon? In lines 35-45, how does the Sentry create sympathy for Antigone. Look at page 953 and explain why Antigone tells the truth about knowing of Creons proclamation. How does Creons masculinity make it impossible for him to accept Antigones betrayal of the state? How does the last line of the scene apply to Creon?

Look at lines 61-68 and explain how Creon is causing the very thing he wants to prevent: anarchy Examine lines 79-96. What is Haemon saying will happen to his father, and why? Why is it impossible for Creon to listen to his son? What is love being compared to in Ode 3?
