Turning Standards into Instructional Objectives Activity: Objective: Given a state standard for a particular grade level and

content area, Students will be able to formulate an instructional objective for an educational activity that clearly states Condition, Performance, and Criteria with 100 percent accuracy. Ex Second Grade !ath Standard 2.1.2.C: "se drawings or models to show the concept of a fraction as part of a whole# use whole numbers and simple fractions $halves, thirds, and fourths% to represent &uantities. Instructional Objective Given five fraction cards $displaying a simple fraction% and a 'lay()oh* play set, pairs of students will construct a pie that corresponds to the given fraction with 100 percent accuracy.
