    The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure invites media to witness the decommissioning of remaining traffic lights at the Churchill Roosevelt Highway/Uriah Butler Highway interchange on December 11, 2013 at 6:00pm. The Minister of Works and Infrastructure and Minister of Public Utilities will be present along with other officials at the JUSAMCO site office located off the Churchill Roosevelt Highway westbound. Turning off the traffic lights represents entering the final phase of constructing the interchange, which is expected to be completed in January 2014. The Minister will also symbolically light the interchange with decorative lights.

    DECOMMISSIONING OF TRAFFIC LIGHTS CRH/UBH INTERCHANGE


    The Minister of Works and Infrastructure, the Honourable Dr. Surujrattan Rambachan, invites all Media to witness the decommissioning of the remaining traffic lights at the Churchill Roosevelt and Uriah Butler Highway (CRH/UBH) Interchange on Wednesday 11th December, 2013 at 6:00pm. Minister Rambachan will be accompanied by Minister of Public Utilities, the Honourable Nizam Baksh and other officials. The group will assemble at the JUSAMCO site office which is located on the frontage road, off the CRH westbound, just before the access road to the Uriah Butler Highway southbound. The decommissioning of these traffic lights will represent the entry into the final phase of the construction of the Interchange which is expected to be completed in January 2014. Minister Rambachan will also turn the switch to symbolically light the Interchange with decorative lights.
