Tristan Thorne promises a girl in the village, Victoria, that he will prove his love by bringing her with a falling star. In order to find the fallen star, Tristan pass the wall, that for hundreds of years kept the citizens of the village safe from the supernatural forces, and went to a realm called Stormhold. He discovers that the meteorite he saw was in fact a beautiful girl named Yvaine, who has passed through space and is now being followed by the King of Stormhold's sons. Tristan wish to protect her from them with any price. But the king's sons aren't the only enemies that wanted to catch Yvaine; The witch Lamia was convinced that the young girl's power can help her achieve eternal youth and beauty. Tristan wishes to bring the star back to Wall, but his way will be an difficult one, because he will encounter a series of enemies that will try to kill them but at the end they remain alive, fall inlove and become the new king and queen of the Stormhold.
