People come to save on another from distress with hand

of help. When it is impossible by one person, he saturates other
for this purpose. When the activities are performed in black and
white, it is called 'Social trust" or 'Social club'. By this purpose
in 1976 'Gazirpara social welfare trust' was set up. The
president of this trust was Gazi Baha Uddin and the General
Secretary of this trust was Gazi Abdul Hannan. The committee
members were involve in setting up many culverts and
developing activities of the village. However another
organization was set up in 1996 named "Prothay social welfare
lrust". This trust had two options, one is social welfare and
another was co-operation. That five years- long organization
worked for the welfare of the hopeless and helpless people of
the village. Syed Abul Kalam Khukon and later on Gazi
Mamunur Roshid were chairman of this trust and Joydu Miah
and later on Md. Nasir Uddin were the General Secretary of that
trust. But for different causes, this trust came to an end in 1999
before the fulfillment of its duration.

The rich people of the village raise their hand of help

openly or secretly during the period of flood or natural
calamites, to the distressed people. They give shelter to the
homeless, help the men who are burdened with the
irsponsibility of marriage of their daughters, provide funeral
costs of the poor people and so many social developing
a c t i \ i u e s . It is mentioned that during the great flood of 2004,
I he U.K settlers donated Tk. 60,000/-. This amount of money
uas distributed to 60 victim family, under the supervision of
< ia/i Sanaul Hoque (Sana Miah).
