Due to no value of Burmese money in the international market PepsiCo engaged n counter trade resulting in rapid depletion of Burmas natural resources and food stock.

PepsiCo was only interested in making their cash reserves look better.

It had absolutely no concern regarding its standing on the grounds of human rights and business morale. The Constructive Engagement with the military did not work out the way expected. The tyrant Dictatorship in Burma was termed as a Favorable Condition for investment by PepsiCo.

Fair and Impartial: Not all all!! The SLORC govt didnt provide much room for the transparency and impartiality. Shareholders provided with incomplete info. Equal pay: No question! Here Forced Labor was rampant. Tuns close ties with the military junta was one of the factors that had led PepsiCo to choose him as a partner. The later decisions taken were because of the pressures of university students.
