December, 2013 Dear friends of the Panama Golf Classic, Recently we were at our golf tournament wrap up meeting, during which we reminisced o!er the wonderful golf day we had on "eptember 10 th at Cornwall Golf and Country Club# $a!ing our 10th anni!ersary was special, but in fact, what really made it special was your presence# %o ha!e our friends and family around us, in such a festi!e and &oyous atmosphere, is what we belie!e it's all about( %han) you for being the )ey to ma)ing that happen( %han) you for your participation and your )ind generosity for those people in Colon, Panama, who struggle on a daily basis# %han)s to your gifts, donations and contributions, a total of *1+,000 was collected and will be distributed to "isters ,arbara and Dina for the -omen and Children's Center, and to .r /ohn for the prison mission# %hese funds will be used toward many forms of !ital support, including medicine, healthcare, education, rehabilitati!e programs and legal fees toward ad!ocacy for compliance with the penal code# -e also hope to ma)e a !isit in the spring# ,e assured that o!erhead costs are at a bare minimum, that these gifts are gi!en directly to the beneficiaries and !isits to Colon, Panama, are at personal financial cost# 0nce again, we than) you from the bottom of our hearts for your confidence, and abo!e all, for your solidarity with the people in their fight against po!erty# -e hope to see you ne1t year at the same location on %uesday, "eptember 2, 2013#(
