The wall caused much anger and sadness as it divided the city and kept people trapped for decades until it was finally torn down in 1989.

    The Berlin Wall! By Quincy!

    The Berlin Wall was a wall that was built to split East Berlin and West Berlin and to keep the East Berlin people trapped inside. The Berlin Wall was built over night in the middle of August in 1961 in Berlin, Germany. During Global Studies we learned and wrote some notes about the Berlin Wall. In English we saw a picture that was taken of the Berlin Wall. The Wall all over was a dark, gray color and also it was very short, so short, you could see over it! On top of the Wall there was barbed wire. In the middle there were cinder blocks. So far, the people are terrified. Windows are bricked up on the right far side. Nobody is on the other side. People are mad maybe because they didnt know about the Berlin Wall. For the sound, very quiet because theyre all so surprised! In fact, its very dark outside. To begin with the people are near the bottom. Next to the people is the Berlin Wall. Besides the building in the back was another building. Also by the building in the back left there was a build board that was circular where they could put on flyers on it. The people were on the side you were close too. In conclusion, the wall was knocked down in 1989 .My reaction was very sad because I feel like that would be so hard to handle. All though lots of people were trapped inside lots of people escaped.
