1-8-14 Dear Parents, I hope you all had a restful break! Due to the snow days, plans will be altered a bit this week. I will send home some review work from Chapter 6 in math for homework (due this Friday) before we begin chapter 7 on Monday. I also encourage your child to continue to read good fit books every night for 20 minutes or more. Spelling will also begin Monday. Here are a few updates and reminders for the month of January: Januarys Environmental Science Theme is Space. Januarys Character Education Theme is Integrity. Conferences will be held January 23 and 27. More information will be coming home next week. Scantron testing begins January 9 for grades 2-5. We will test four times over the next 2 weeks. This test takes place in the computer lab. All the testing will be in the morning. I am sending home a scholastic book order that will be due January 24.
