1. Families in Hong Kong often hire domestic helpers for housework. Some of them are new immigrants who often have low labor skills. They face different kinds of obstacles after they immigrate to Hong Kong, like communication problems in their the local communities. The government sometimes ignores the problem of inadequate support provided to those new comers and assumes they can live on their own with the provided financial subsides. In fact, the new citizens often realize if the government understand what they need. For those new comers, they want to be involved, rather than be excluded from the society.

2. Usually, people are not aware of how they treat different people in a different manner. This can probably cause discrimination. For instance, a boss refuse to employ the disabled because of their inconvenience to move around, typically those who sit on wheelchairs. This kind of actions are unfair as everyone should enjoy equal opportunities to get a job interview.

3. Ethnic minorities in Hong Kong are adapting the local culture. Most of them struggle in employment problems. Finding a fulfilling job with higher salary seems not possible for them due to lower education levels. Some said the employer may start at them when they ask for the available positions in a shop or company. As a consequence, the living condition is never improved and the group has to rely on donation from charities for living expenses.
