Instructions : 1. Students sit in a group of 3 members. 2. Each groups will get 3 different th tongue twister. 3. Each group will be given time to practice pronounce the tongue twister correctly. 4. In a given time, each group will have to recite the tongue twister as fast as they can with the correct pronunciations.

ACTIVITY TO IMRPOVE ENGLISH PRONUNCIATION AMONG PUPILS IN PRIMARY SCHOOL Minimal pairs Learning outcome: Speak clearly by pronouncing words accurately Level: Level 1 Pronounce monosyllable words correctly Aim: To improve pronunciation skill. Activity: The use of minimal pairs to help students distinguish minor differences between English vowel and consonant sounds. Outline: 1. Students are paired and given flash cards with a minimal pair of words on each card. 2. One student says one of the words written on the flashcard, and then shows his partner the flashcard. 3. The partner must then determine which word was spoken. 4. The person trying to figure out the word can ask the person speaking to repeat the word twice. 5. When the partner determines which word was spoken, the student can give the correct word that was spoken. 6. Next, change their role of the partner using same flashcard until all of the words have pronounced.
