1. 2594-04 Shank Assembly 2. 2595-07 Draw Bar Assembly 3. 4430-03 1/2 x 3-1/4 Hex Bolt (1) (1) (2) 4. 1880-03 1/2 Lockwasher 5. 1862-03 1/2 Hex Nut (2) (2)

1. Slide the shank assembly #1 into a 2 square receiver and secure with a 5/8 diameter hitch pin with locking device. The multi-hole leg of the assembly can be either up or down, depending on the ball platform height needed. 2. Position the draw bar assembly #2 on the shank assembly at the required height. The draw bar can be positioned either up or down depending on the ball height. See Illustrations on the front of this sheet. Bolt ball mount in lace with fasteners included in kit. 3. Tighten the attaching bolts to 75 ft. lbs. torque. 4. Use only a ball with a 1 diameter shank on this ball mount. 5. This ball mount is designed and tested to safely carry a maximum gross trailer weight of 5000 lbs. and a loaded tongue weight of 500 lbs. However, under no circumstances should the lower capacity rating of the trailer ball, trailer coupler, receiver, ball mount or vehicle be exceeded. WARNING: Before towing trailer, make sure that the ball is firmly secured to the ball mount. DO NOT tow if ball is not tightened to the torque specified by the ball manufacturer. WARNING: Be sure to check the hitch pin and hair pin for positive locking placement before towing a trailer.
