The 2014 Arenacross Series The Putoline Apico Honda team, along with there two riders, Neville

Bradshaw and James Harrison made the long trip to Northern Ireland last Friday and Saturday to ta e part in rounds one and two o! the "#$% Arenacross series and came away with results that didn&t truly re!lect the teams pace and commitment' All through (uali!ying on Friday Neville was always in the top three !astest and with James adapting well to the new team and motorcycle )rand, things were loo ing good' Neville was !i!th !astest !rom )oth groups o! pro riders and was the !astest *+" machine while James made it into the main event a!ter !inishing second in the ,-. race and the scene was set !or a thrilling !inal race o! the evening' Neville made an uncharacteristic mista e at the start o! the race )y mis/udging the drop o! the start gate and hitting it, which meant that as the pac was disappearing up the start straight Neville was towards the )ac , with James one place )ehind him' 0ith the race only twelve laps long and arenacross trac s notoriously hard to ma e a pass on, Neville did what he could, !inishing eighth with James /ust one place )ehind him' Neville said a!ter racing was !inished !or the day, 1I mis/udged the gate and hit it )e!ore it went down and that put me dead last' But the trac has )ecome li e a sand race all !ollow the leader with deep ruts everywhere' 2ighth is not good, )ut I won the 1head to head3 and tomorrow is another day3 It was a similar story on Saturdays round two with )oth riders doing well in (uali!ying and in the two heats, with Neville ta ing a heat win and James ac(uitting himsel! well )ut /ust missing out on going to the main event' Neville got a reasona)le /ump on the start gate, )ut got tangled up with some other riders in a !irst turn crash that once again put him at the )ac o! the (uic twelve laps race' A!ter ma ing his way to eighth place a simple mista e saw him drop )ac to tenth at the che(uered !lag the disappointment already showing on his !ace'

He said a!ter, 1I thin my riding was good again on Saturday with good lap times and winning the opening heat race' In the !inal I got caught up in the !irst turn, came through to seventh and made some )ad moves on the last lap and lost three positions to !inish tenth' It4s not what I was loo ing !or )ut I made the main )oth nights and had some really good speed and heat races on )oth nights' ,oo ing !orward to a )etter wee end in Birmingham3
