Student Blogging Rubric

Criteria Unacceptable Student only summarizes about a topic that is not relevant to the current unit of study. The student is not thoughtful or well prepared. There are more than five grammatical mistakes. Acceptable Student posts about a relevant topic based on the current unit of study. Student offers some new, original ideas but does some summarizing. The post is thoughtfully prepared and appropriate for the audience. There are 1-4 grammatical errors. Target Student posts about a topic that is relevant and pertains to the current unit of study. Evidence is shown that the student has thoughtfully prepared a wellwritten discussion that is appropriate for the given audience. There are no grammatical errors.
