Thinking process = Comparing and Constrasting Thinking Map = The Double Bubble Map

Looks like:

How does it work? Take two objects, people etc. What have they got in common? What makes each one different from the other? 1. Draw the two larger bubbles 2. Draw a number of central bubbles that connect to both of the larger bubbles. This is to encourage lots of thinking i.e. if you put only one, you will get only one idea. By putting a number, you are challenging the thinking 3. To the left of the left hand larger bubble, draw a number of connected bubbles 4. To the right of the right hand bubble, draw a number of connected bubbles 5. In the two larger bubbles, put the two objects/people/ideas you want to compare and contrast 6. In the central bubbles, put anything that the two objects (etc) have in common 7. In the far left bubbles, put things that make the idea in the left hand larger bubble different 8. In the far right hand bubbles, put things that make the idea in the right hand larger bubble different 9. The Double Bubble is similar in function to the Venn diagram 10. The Double Bubble Map can have a frame of reference, but does not have to
