How does it work? This Map focuses on describing. What words would you use to describe an object, character, atmosphere etc? You must use describing words adjectives or adjectival phrases 1. Draw the centre bubble 2. Draw a number of outside connected bubbles. This is to encourage lots of thinking i.e. if you put only one, you will get only one idea. By putting in a number, you are challenging the thinking 3. In the centre bubble put the object that you want to describe 4. In the outside bubbles put in words or phrases that describe the object adjectives or adjectival phrases 5. It can have a frame of reference, but does not have to
